West Midlands Law enforcement say they are treating the demise of the boy or girl on 9 December as suspicious, and an investigation is under way.

3 gals ­– aged 20, 23 and 50 – had been arrested on 16 December on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter and subsequently produced on bail with strict disorders even though enquiries continue.

A further more three women of all ages – aged 51, 53 and 37 – were arrested yesterday (4 January 2023). Two had been arrested on suspicion of company manslaughter and 1 on suspicion of gross carelessness manslaughter.

The legal investigation was released next a visit by Ofsted following the boy’s loss of life.

The nursery in Bourne Road, Dudley, has had its registration suspended by Ofsted and is shut along with other connected premises.

Ofsted claimed it is supporting the law enforcement with their ongoing investigation.
